The Culture Wars.
The culture wars are a distraction and you fell for it.
We’ve been sorting you into little boxes that prevent you from gathering together.
You have the numbers. If you coalesced together you could challenge the economic system we created to keep you down.
But, you’re in these little boxes:
College grads look down on non-college grads.
Blue Collar vs. White Collar.
Union vs. Non-Union
City vs. Suburban vs. Rural.
White vs. Black vs. Asian vs. Hispanic.
Republican vs. Democrat.
Immigrant (recent) vs. Non-(recent) Immigrant.
Gay/Lesbian etc. vs. Straight.
Men vs. Women.
Progressive vs. Conservative.
If we break you apart and set you against each other, you tear each other down and never bother to look up.
We’re taking money out of your pocket constantly. Reverse Robin Hood. It’s expensive to be poor, by design.
And, we’re destroying the “middle class” deliberately to push you all down to middle-ages serf level.
Take, for example, the issue of transgender playing in their changed gender sports. We’ve made this front page news. About the time it falls off the front page, our media puts it back. It’s on-line, on social media, and on television. Constant fight in the news.
It’s a distraction. There is probably less than 1,000 people this issue affects nationally, in a nation of 300,000,000. Think about that. We’re making millions of people pay attention to something that concerns less than the population of a small rural village.
It should not be consuming any attention, but it is and you’re distracted by it and you’re required to pick a side. That’s what the culture wars do, focus you on something that doesn’t matter and force you to fight each other. Hunger games style. The capitol always wins.
Of course, a biological male cannot play in women’s sports. This is common sense. But, our media made it a litmus test.
If you’re a democrat or progressive, you have to support transgender in sports or stay completely silent. If you do anything else, you’ll be shouted down and ostracized - even though 90% of people agree with common sense.
This culture war issue is a complete an utter distraction. It distracts you from the economic damage being imposed on you, daily.
You’re paying 20% more for everything than you did last year. And that year was 20% more than the year before. You can’t afford anything anymore, including retirement. You will die in serfdom, particularly with the faux elite taking more of the crumbs we leave behind.
The crumbs of crumbs become smaller. What happened during the pandemic? The faux elite became even wealthier and your business was closed or barely hanging on.
The culture wars work so well that at least 30% of you, and probably the 30% that’s the worst off economically, won’t ever vote “for the other side”. Regardless of how sensible the candidate sounds and regardless of how much it is in your shared economic interests, you won’t entertain voting for one of “them.” Why? Because you’re invested in the culture wars.
You’re so busy “owning the dems” or “fighting the patriarchy” that we’ve got you fully controlled.
The culture wars prevents the creation of a sensible majority, and prevents even a majority of legislators from enacting any common sense economic reforms.
This system has poor people endorses “tort reform” (meaning they are paid less when we injure them for life) and force them to arbitrate every dispute they might have (so our companies can take small amounts from them, like little fines, and they can’t do anything about it). Both are just systems designed to keep workers even poorer. But they are so into the culture wars and whatever they are being told, they just follow the other lemmings off the cliff.
The culture wars are keeping you poor, and getting poorer.
